Entertainment Desk: South star Ram Charan Teja is all set to tie the knot with his childhood love Upasana Kamineni on Thursday. The grand wedding has been described as the marriage of decade that city of Hyderabad will witness tomorrow.

 

Teja is the son of South superstar Chiranjeevi and Upasana Kamineni is the Executive Director of Apollo Life.

 

Upasana Kamineni is the eldest daughter of Anil and Shobana Kamineni and the granddaughter of Padamvibhushan Dr Prathap C Reddy, Founder-Chairman of Apollo Hospitals. Besides business Upasana is a social worker. From the age of 15, she began U Xchange, a service to recycle books and notebooks that were distributed amongst poor children. She spends a large part of her day with children who are being treated at the Apollo Health City, Hyderabad.

 

Grand preparations for the lavish wedding are on full swing and both the families are at their best to make the wedding memorable.

 

It is heard that the centrally air-conditioned venue will be painted mostly in white, adorned with crystal decor imported from UK and chandeliers from China. A famous Art director of the South Films is reportedly designing the wedding venue at Upasana’s farmhouse, and also the venue for the reception that Chiranjeevi is hosting on the night of the wedding day.

The high-profile couple will wear Tarun Tahiliani designed traditional outfits on the marriage day.

 

Most probably the guests at the reception of the lavish Wedding are going to witness imported chandeliers, crystal ware from London and a food court with Balinese-themed décor.

 

Adding to those, foolproof swipe card invitations are likely to be distributed to the guests most of whom are celebrities from the entertainment world, Business and Politics. Birdie news has suggested that Sonia and Rahul Gandhi are also attending the marriage.

On the other hand in the bride’s side the founders of the renowned Apollo group, is reportedly preparing in a style of the British Royal Wedding.

 

Teja is the board of directors of MAA TV. He recently signed his first Bollywood film which is a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s superhit film Zanjeer. He was the brand ambassador for Pepsi and Airtel in Andhra Pradesh and now continuing as the brand ambassador of Tata DocoMo for Andhra region. He owns a Polo Team 'Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club (RC HPRC).
