Entertainment Desk: ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ is an out and out love story in three different time zones – 1910, 1960 and 2010. Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapoor are playing the pivotal roles in all the three segments. The Kunal Kohli directed romance drama is slated to hit theatres on June 22.

 

‘Teri Meri Kahani’, is a film about three love stories that take place at three different eras involving the same couple. The first of them is a story from Lahore in 1910 where Priyanka plays Aradhana, who is in love with a Muslim boy Javed, played by Shahid. In the 1960 chronicle, Shahid plays the character of a struggling music director in Mumbai who falls in love with a successful actress, played by Priyanka and in the third story they again fall in love as Radha and Krish, in England in 2012.

 

Priyanka Chopra described the first character Aradhana to be very tough as she does not have sufficient clues and references to portrait the character. Only a few books are there with the help of which she will have to enter into the skin of the character.

 

The theatrical trailer of the film was released on 6 April 2012, alongside ‘Housefull 2’ in cinemas and received with positive notes. This is for the second time that Shahid and Priyanka are acting together in a film after ‘Kaminey’.

Teri Meri Kahani, gets its name after the three characters in the three time zones those play different roles. 

Eros International Media Ltd and Kunal Kohli Productions are jointly producing the film. Chinni Prakash and Ahmed Khan have choreographed the songs and Sunil Patel is the Cinematographer of the film. Prasoon Joshi has written lyrics and music is by Sajid Wajid.
