Entertainment Desk: Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty starrer ‘Cocktail’ is all set to release just after a couple of days on July 13. The film directed by Homi Adajania is a romantic drama.

It revolves around three characters Gautam, Veronica and Meera, played by Saif, Deepika and Diana respectively.

Name of the film best represents its plot. As per the Story, the title ‘Cocktail’ refers to cocktail of love actually. Till the climax of the film nobody is certain about ‘who’s who?’ in love. The story revolves around Gautam Khanna (Saif Ali Khan), Veronica D'Costa (Deepika Padukone) and Meera Gupta (Diana Penty).

Gautam Khanna was anxious enough to get a job in London. Eventually he also manages to get one. But his mother, Nita (Dimple Kapadia) wants her son to wait for a while as she has to finalize a ‘bohu’ for him.

She finds a girl Meera Gupta (Diana Penty) who according to her fits to all her expectations. But acting like a modern and considerate mother she wants the couple to naturally fall in love and hence makes a plan.

She does not reveal anything regarding her choice to Gautam and also tells Meera's parents not to inform Meera but simply asks her son to take her friend's daughter Meera as she has an assignment in London for 3 days.

On the flight, Meera and Gautam becomes friend. In London, Meera comes across troubles completing her assignment and so fails to submit it on time. She loses her job but then Gautam consoles her.

Again, once they go to a beach party where the third character of the love triangle Veronica D'Costa (Deepika Padukone) appears on the frame. Now, Gautam falls in love with Veronica being unaware of the fact that the girl has a boyfriend Jeremy Viegas (Randeep Hooda).

In the mean time, Meera starts loving Gautam while Jeremy started disliking Veronica thanks to her choosy attitude and started loving Meera. So, in this way a complete cocktail takes place in between the four to decide that actually who loves whom.

We are not sure whether the above story will actually be shown after release or not, but if this is the real story even after editing desk work and director’s alteration, than it is a nice story, that people will love to watch.

The film has been shot at outdoor locations like Cape Town, Western Cape, south Africa. While Pritam and Yo Yo Honey Singh have given the music Anil Mehta has done the Cinematography. The song ‘Yariyaan’ has already earned a lot good note.

Boman Irani, Dimple Kapadia, Randeep Hooda, Ernest Vernon, Martyn Mayger and Matt Williams are the other actors besides the main cast. Saif has not provided a hit since a while, let us keep our fingers crossed and wait what ‘Cocktail’ is bringing for us.
