News Desk: ‘Ashirwad’, the sea facing Bungalow of late Superstar Rajesh Khanna at Carter road in Mumbai will reportedly be converted into a museum as per his wish. He was attached with the bungalow in a big way where he had spent his memorable moments in life.

It has been reported that Rajesh himself had a wish to convert the building into a museum and his daughters Twinkle and Rinkie are also agreed. However, the final decision in this context will be taken after the complete funeral rites are over.

Clothes, trophies, cars and other mementoes of Khanna will be kept in the proposed museum. Khanna had inaugurated a park in Khar in the 70s, which was officially named ‘Rajesh Khanna Garden'. Similarly, he had expressed desire that his bungalow be called 'Rajesh Khanna Museum'. Hence the new museum most probably will be called 'Rajesh Khanna Museum'.

Death of Rajesh Khanna on last Wednesday at the age of 69 has brought great sorrow to all of his fans across the world.

Father in law of actor Akshya Kumar, Khanna is survived by his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and two daughters.
