News Desk: Breaking News! In a disappointing way, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has quit Deepa Mehta's project "Midnight's Children", revealing date problem. Kangana was supposed to play the role of Emerald in the movie, which is based on Salman Rushdie’s novel.

Earlier Kangana had agreed to act in Deepa Mehta's upcoming project, but she looks with another movie 'Dhamaal 2' for which she is not able to manage her time and schedule for the shooting. After that, the actress will be seen in Salman Khan’s movie.

However, Kangana has signed a series of movies like David Dhawan's Rascal, Pritish Nandy's film 'Actor', Priyadarshan's 'Bullet Train', 'Tanu Weds Manu', 'No Problem', and 'Knockout'.

Seems like, Deepa has been upset with the response from Kangana regarding the movie. Earlier, Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan were selected for doing the particular role in the film. But they made back out saying, no interest in the character.
