The wedding was attended by only close relatives and friends. Anoushka met Joe at William Darlrymple's house for dinner in New Delhi in March 2009, where they started interaction and soon both fell in love with each other and later moved in together.

The couple is expecting their first child soon, as Anoushka is currently pregnant. Anoushka was earlier dating Delhi-based socialite Nishant Peralta.
