News Desk: Various Bollywood actors from yesteryear and newcomers were awarded with Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards in Mumbai on Tuesday night.

 

‘Dabangg’ actress Sonakshi Sinha was awarded for the Best Debutant award for the film while Ranvir Singh won the same in male category.

 

Outstanding Performance award was awarded to Rani Mukherjee for her terrific performance in ‘No One Killed Jessica’.

 

‘7 Khoon Maaf’ did not do well at the box office but it surely did well for Priyanka Chopra as she was awarded with Memorable Performance award  for the film.

 

Arbaaz Khan got the Debut Producer award for the 2010’s blockbuster movie ‘Dabangg’. Evergreen star Dharmendra was honored with the Phalke Ratna award while yesteryear’s Bollywood queen Asha Parekh was presented with the Legendary Icon Cine award.

 

Veteran actor Dara Singh was awarded with the Senior Most Cine Artist award. Veteran Bollywood director Sisir Mishra was presented the Best Director award.
