News Desk: Forgiveness sounds pretty good in literature that has been described as the highest kind of attitude. When it comes to real life, women are seen forgiving more than men that shows another emotional difference between two sexes.

According to researchers at the University of the Basque Country in Northern Spain, women are more empathetic than men. The recent study highlights differences between the first sex and fairer sex on the basis of emotion.

Researchers said that women are quite emotional in their each relationship and can put herself at someone else's place that leads to forgiveness in later period. They easily forgive than their opposite sex.

They also found that parents are more forgiving than children. The study was conducted on 140 parents and children between the age groups of 40-65 and 17-25 respectively to know the percentage of forgiveness in two sexes as well as parents and kids.

Researchers found that forgiveness differs with people's age and sex. While women are less revengeful than men, parents are found forgiving more their kids. The study published in the journal 'Revista Latinoamericana de Psicología found that men also give importance to “not bearing grudge” concept, but believe in punishing the offenders first.
