Swine Flu made its debut in Mexico in April 2009. Later it spread to the US and Canada. Currently, 187 countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, New Zealand, UK, Japan, Italy, China, Germany, Thailand, Spain, Malaysia, Colombia and Chile were affected by Swine Flu. It is almost over in all countries except India.

The Swine Flu is contagious by nature. It can spread from human to human by touching. It spreads through droplets created while coughing.

5. How Swine Flu can be prevented?

It has been advised to maintain a distance of two meters from the infected person. Wear masks, use handkerchief to cover mouth, avoid gathering at public places and wash hands frequently with soap or hand wash. Drinking water and eating fresh food are also recommended.

6. Medicines for Swine Flu

Take medicines only under the supervision of a Physician. The disease can be prevented in early stages if proper medication is taken. Vaccines and nasal drops are available in the market. Homeopathic medicines are also recommended.

The injectible vaccines available in the market are ‘Vaxiflu-S’ and ‘Humenza’. The nasal vaccine is known as ‘Nassovac'. Tamiflu tablets are also helpful, if given to the Swine Flu patients. It will be better to contact a Physician before taking any medicines/vaccination.

the channel calls itself breaking news, but the above article is stale news. All these facts are repeated in local Tv channels repeadly. The information given is very elementary. No effort made to discuss the allegation that it is a case of unnessary panic created by some pharma companies to profit on it.So many people die in India of so many communicable deseases, why not focus on them too!
