| Dialysis, MRI for Poor become cheaper in Pune |

Good news for patients in Pune seeking treatments for kidney and other diseases. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) standing committee came with an approved proposal for poor people to provide dialysis and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in cheap rate. Â As dialysis is costly for poor people, the PMC standing committee has decided to provide Rs 500 for dialysis and Rs 3,500 for MRI respectively. Â As per the scheme the PMC can provide the financial assistance up to Rs25, 000 in a year to the poor. Even patients undergoing treatments in nay hospital in Pune will get the benefits of the scheme. Â However, the scheme will be available for Residents of Pune.
