Breaking News! In a significant development, India is looking forward to set up mobile healthcare to provide high quality services at low cost in rural areas. As most of the village people face a lot of problem getting proper medical services, the mobile healthcare will serve them the best.

As providing the health service to people of remote areas a bit not satisfactory according to the recent report, the government sets its eyes on the mobile health technology that would provide 24X7 health services on mobile phone.

The Apollo Group comes as the first by setting up tele-centres in Chennai and Kolkata to provide the service to people. The country where 70% people live in villages and 80% healthcare professionals live in cities has brought a kind of imbalance providing the best healthcare services to the people.

Apollo has also taken another step as a pilot project to deal with emergency pregnancies and the service is provided via video streaming. As it is expected that mobile health technology will grow triple by 2014 globally, leading mobile phone firms like Ericsson and Nokia have already introduced projects on healthcare.
