Two Swine Flu Deaths in Maharashtra take India Toll to 1,296 |

New Delhi: Two more A H1N1 deaths were reported from Maharashtra, taking the Swine Flu death toll in the country to 1,296. These deaths occurred earlier, but confirmed only yesterday. Maharashtra now accounts for 339 Swine Flu deaths in the country.
 Other states that reported high number of Swine Flu deaths are Gujarat (263), Rajasthan (186), Karnataka (141), Delhi (95), Andhra Pradesh (52), Punjab (39), Kerala (37), Haryana (37), Madhya Pradesh (24), Uttar Pradesh (18) and Uttarakhand (13).  As many as 37 fresh cases of Swine Flu were reported from different parts of India, taking the number of laboratory-confirmed cases to 29,268. Maharashtra reported 22 new cases, while Rajasthan and Gujarat reported 6 and 5 cases respectively. |
