Breaking News! In an ongoing probe into fire tragedy at the AMRI hospital in Kolkata, two top doctors were arrested in the city on Friday after interrogation. The massive fire had claimed over 90 lives on December 9 last year.

Dr Mani Chettri and Dr Pranab Dasgupta were arrested on Friday. They were the board members at AMRI hospital. Police have arrested 13 people so far including four staff and nine board members in connection with the case.

Earlier, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) had appealed the West Bengal government seeking the release of the arrested AMRI Hospital directors.

However, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had rejected their appeal saying the law will take its own course in the case.
