Bangalore: Another battered baby girl is battling for her life in a city hospital in Bangalore. The three-month-old baby Afreen was admitted with cigarette burns on her forehead.


The shocking report is quite similar to Baby Falak case of Delhi. Afreen's mother Reshma Bhanu claimed that her husband Farooq tortured the baby with cigarette burns on her body.


The baby is in coma due to head injuries. Her mother claimed that her husband tried to kill the baby. She said that Farooq was not happy when she delivered a baby girl three months ago.


Even the in-laws did not want to admit the baby to the hospital following the head injuries, claimed Reshma.


The incident comes as after the country witnessed the shocking story of baby Falak, who recently died at AIIMS in New Delhi.
