News Desk: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has been invited by Time magazine to a grand dinner with the who's who (the influential people across the globe) in New York on April 24.

The Trinamool Congress leader has been named by the publication as one of the 100 most influential people of the world.

It will be a gala black tie formal dinner where the “who's who” will be present, said a source close to the CM.

However, Mamata is not likely to attend the dinner due to her work schedule. She will be busy with a programme of inaugurating development projects at Maoist-hit Lalgarh in West Midnapore district on April 24.

With the inclusion of Mamata's name in Time Magazine's list, she joined the club of people like US President Barack Obama, legendary investor Warren Buffet, Pakistan's first Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, who inspire, entertain, challenge and change the world.
