News Desk: The Chhattisgarh hostage crisis involving Sukma Collector Alex Paul Menon has taken an interesting turn, as the Maoists have sought the release of 8 prisoners and halting of Operation Green Hunt in Bastar region. Â The Maoists have set a deadline of April 25 for the government to accede to their demands to secure the release of the District Collector. Â Earlier, Alex Paul Menon's wife Asha has appealed to the Maoists to release her husband immediately, saying he is an asthmatic patient and just have two doses of medicines. |
