News Desk: In a shocking development, a woman showed black flag to Congress President Sonia Gandhi, as she began to speak at a function at Siddaganga Mutt in Tumkur of Karnataka.

 

Sonia Gandhi is on a two-day visit to Karnataka to revive the Congress' fortunes in the state. She was participating in the Guruvandana programme of Siddaganga mutt seer Shivakumaraswamiji in Tumkur when the incident took place.

 

The woman was reportedly demanding reservation. She was immediately taken away by the cops. Sonia is slated to visit the drought-affected areas in Nagasamudra village in Chitradurga district.

 

This is the first time in the last six years that a top Congress leader has been invited to attend a function at Siddaganga Mutt. The BJP leaders have decided to skip the event.
