Ghaziabad: In a fresh development, Nupur Talwar, who is accused in her teenage daughter Aarushi's murder case, finally surrendered in the special CBI court in Ghaziabad on Monday.

Sources said that Nupur was taken into custody after she surrendered before the court.

Meanwhile, Nupur's lawyer moved a bail application. The CBI is likely to respond on her bail application by 11:30 am.

On Monday morning, Nupur arrived at the special CBI court in Ghaziabad along with her mother and husband Rajesh Talwar.

Nupur's move came after the Supreme Court directed her to surrender before the trial court while refusing to stay the non-bailable warrant against her.
