Breaking News! Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot held a press conference with Bollywood Actor Aamir Khan, who raised the issue of female foeticide in Rajasthan and elsewhere in the country.

 

Gehlot assured Aamir Khan that he would ensure speedy trial of the accused in female foeticide cases. The Rajasthan CM would write to the Chief Justice of India for setting up fast track courts to take up such cases.

 

Aamir Khan's debut TV show, "Satyamev Jayate" narrated the stories of female foeticide cases elsehwere in India. It also showed how two reporters conducted a sting operation in Rajasthan, in which some doctors were caught on camera promoting female foeticide.

 

Both Aamir Khan and Ashok Gehlot hailed the reporters who exposed female foeticide in Rajasthan and urged others to take up such cases.
