Illegal Mining: Janardhan Reddy gets Bail |

News Desk: In a big relief to former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy, a Hyderabad court granted him conditional bail on Friday in the OMC (Obulapuram Mining Company) illegal mining case.
Reddy is accused of entering into a criminal conspiracy with public servants including late Linga Reddy, Rajagopal, suspended IAS officer and then secretary (Industries and Commerce department) Y Srilakshmi for being granted of the mining lease areas of 68.5 hectares and 39.5 hectare.
Janardhana Reddy was arrested along with his brother-in-law Srinivas Reddy in September last year in connection with illegal mining probe following raids at their houses.
The CBI had seized over 30 kg of gold and more than Rs 4.5 crore in cash from Janardhan Reddy's house at Bellary during the raid.
