News Desk: Rajasthan Chief Minister might have a high regard for Aamir Khan, who is trying to eradicate the social diseases through his show "Satyamev Jayate", health minister Rajkumar Sharma has a different opinion.

On the measures taken by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to fight against Ashok female feticide, Sharma on Sunday said that it is not because of Aamir Khan, who drew the state government's attention to set up a separate fast track court to check female feticide.

He said that the CM had taken up the matter much before Aamir Khan in the budget to constitute a task force to prevent such crime. He said that state government has taken other measures including 15 Hamari Beti Express, a van for spreading awareness about female feticide.

He said that the government has always been active in tackling problems in the state. Even raids have been carried out at sonography centres and the cases have been registered against the accused.

The government even has announced to give Rs 1 lakh reward to the person informing about people involved in female feticide. He said that all these efforts have been done much before the actor took up the issue. Therefore, there is nothing that Aamir will be praised and appreciated for taking up the issue.
