News Desk: Veteran Congress leader ND Tiwari would be in trouble as he has been asked by the Delhi High Court to give his consent for a DNA test in two days to hear the paternity suit filed by Rohit Shekhar.

The court passed an order on Monday in a response to the case filed by Rohit Shekhar, who claims to be the biological son of Tiwari.

Earlier, the former Andhra Pradesh governor Tiwari had approached the Supreme Court challenging high court order on the DNA test. However, the apex court ordered the same refusing to stay the high court's order.

Shekhar had moved the high court last week to take the blood sample forcibly from the leader for the test. He had sought the court's direction to Tiwari to comply with the court orders on December 23, 2010 and April 27, 2012.

In his petition, Shekhar said, "Direct the non-applicant 1 (Tiwari) to furnish blood samples at the earliest convenience of this court. In the event that Tiwari fails to appear on the date fixed by the court, appoint a Commissioner to draw blood samples of Tiwari by force or otherwise".

Even he appealed to the court to appoint a commissioner to take Tiwari's blood samples. He said that the commissioner should be given assistance for the test.
