News Desk: Giving no relief to Nupur Talwar in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case, the Allahabad High Court on Wednesday has deferred her bail plea till May 22. It suggests that she has to stay in jail for another few days. Â
Meanwhile, the CBI, which is probing the case, filed a counter affidavit in the High Court, opposing her bail plea. Nupur is seeking bail on the ground of parity as her Dentist husband Rajesh Talwar, who is the main accused in the case, is out on bail.
In her bail plea, Nupur said that she has not killed her daughter or the domestic help Hemraj. She accused the probing agency of conducting incomplete investigating into the case.
Her bail plea was earlier rejected by the CBI special court in Ghaziabad 14 days ago for avoiding the court appearance and disobeying the Supreme Court's order.
Nupur is currently lodged in Dasna jail. Today, she made her court appearance along with her husband Rajesh Talwar at the CBI special court in Ghaziabad.
The Ghaziabad court also deferred the hearing on framing of charges against the Talwars till May 21.
Meanwhile, the apex court also reserved its order on Nupur's review petition seeking to quash charges against them.
Today was the crucial day for the Talwars as three courts hearings were there in Supreme Court, a special court in Ghaziabad and the Allahabad High Court.
The hearings come a day after the CBI handed over three CDs to the Talwars' lawyers and also brought around 6000 pages of documents to be given to the couple.
