Fire breaks out at Punjab National Bank in Delhi PDF Print E-mail

Breaking News! A fire broke out at the Punjab National Bank on Ashoka Road, New Delhi this afternoon, triggering a panic situation. At least 25 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot.

 

The fire was attributed to a short circuit. Rescue operations are going on full swing. Efforts are on to bring the situation under control.

 

The PNB is located near the Parliament House. Many bank officials and customers are feared trapped inside the building. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far. However, hospitals, ambulances and emergency facilities have been put on alert.
