News Desk: A CBI court in Ghaziabad on Friday formally framed charged against the dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar for murder of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj.

The parents were formally charged with murder, destruction of evidence and conspiracy in the double murder case. Rajesh Talwar has also been charged with misleading the probe in the case. The trial will begin from June 4.

During the arguments in the court, the CBI, which is probing the case, had appealed to the court to charge the couple under sections 302, 201, 203, 34 of the Indian Penal Code for murder, false FIR, destruction of evidence and misleading the court and the probe.

The CBI on Thursday claimed that there were four people in the house of which two died and two were left alive when the double murder took place. The agency had claimed that the injuries on Aurushi and Hemraj were identical. The golf stick recovered from the house matches the injury.

The CBI also claimed that Rajesh Talwar had given false information regarding the crime scene.
