MLA attacked in Delhi, suffers Bullet injury PDF Print E-mail

New Delhi: An independent MLA from Najafgarh constituency was shot at in Delhi by unidentified assailants on Saturday morning. He was rushed to Charan Devi hospital in critical condition.


A passerby was also injured in the firing. The incident took place near MLA's office in Najafgarh's Sarangpur village at around 8:30 AM. Police said that four to five people opened fire at the 35-year-old MLA Bharat Singh.


While the MLA suffered a bullet injury, the passerby was also injured in the attack. No arrests have been made so far. Police suspected the case is of personal rivalry.
