News Desk: The Prime Minister Office on Saturday slammed the civil society group Team Anna for their demand for SIT probe into coal block allocation scam, calling then anti-national.

The PMO rejected SIT probe into coal block allocation scam saying the matter has been handed over to the CBI.

Minister of state in PMO V Narayanasamy on Saturday attacked Team Anna saying veteran social activist Anna Hazare has been surrounded by "anti-national elements" and the group is supported by "foreign forces".

He criticised Team Anna members Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi. He sought explanation from them in the case that huge sums of money were collected during last year's anti-graft agitation at Ramlila Maidan. He charged that Bedi was also facing some allegations over flight travel.

He termed all the allegations against Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in coal block allocation scam as 'baseless'. He said that the government led by Dr Singh was "transparent".

Targeting Team Anna and yoga guru Ramdev, he said that a set of self-proclaimed leaders wanted to destabilise the government.

The PMO said that the government is taking all the steps to bring back black money deposited at foreign banks.
