News Desk: The Karnataka government has ordered a probe into the allegations of sexual abuse against self-styled god man swami Nithyananda. The monk's ashram property will also be searched and seized as per the order.
Swami Nithyananda, who is facing criminal charges including rape, police will issue a manhunt against him after complaints of rape and sexual abuse were lodged.
The probe order came after the clashes between the activists of a Kannada organisation and Nithyananda's disciples broke out at his ashram following the allegations by a US woman.
She alleged that she was sexually abused by the monk for five years. However, Nithyananda denied the charges. Following the clashes police registered two cases against him.
Earlier, allegations were made against Nithyananda after some local TV channels aired the videos, in which he was seen in a compromising position with an actress Ranjitha.
