News Desk: Sacked Commonwealth Games (CWG) chief Suresh Kalmadi was heckled on Monday by the BJP and MNS protesters during his visit to the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).


The Congress leader Kalmadi, who is accused in the massive CWG scam, was shown black flags at the premises of the civic body headquarters.


The BJP and MNS workers protested his visit to PMC and waved black flags. They also tried to prevent him from entering the premises. According to the protesters, Kalmadi had no moral right to participate in the civic matters as he has lowered the prestige of Pune being involved in the sports scam.


Kalmadi, who is currently out of jail on bail, visited Pune to open the sports committee office of the PMC.
