Hyderabad: BCCI chief and India Cements Managing Director N Srinivasan was quizzed for second time by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Hyderabad in connection with a disproportionate assets case filed against YSR Congress chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Srinivasan was questioned for over six hours for alleged investments made by his company in the firms promoted by Jagan when YS Rajasekhara Reddy was Andhra Pradesh chief minister. Â
The CBI alleged that Srinivasan's India Cements had received huge allocation of water from Krishna and Kagna rivers during the YSR regime for his cement plants in Ranga Reddy and Nalgonda districts of Andhra Pradesh.
In order to receive government favours, India cements had allegedly invested Rs 135 crore in Jagati Publications and other firms owned by Jagan, who is currently lodged in jail in illegal assets case.
