Breaking News! In a huge setback for senior Congress leader ND Tiwari, the DNA report revealed that he is the biological father of 32-year-old Rohit Shekhar. Tiwari may challenge the findings of the report in the Supreme Court.

The Delhi High Court on Friday revealed the DNA test report of Tiwari. The court said, "ND Tiwari and Ujjwala Sharma are the biological father and mother of Rohit Shekhar".


It is the victory of the truth and also Shekhar, who had filed a case against Tiwari seeking justice in 2008. He had been claiming that Tiwari is his biological father.


"I am neither happy nor sad. I will take every lawful right I have been given under law. I am not an illegitimate child. I have the right to use his (Tiwari) surname," said Shekhar.


Tiwari, three-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, also served as Uttarakhand Chief Minister between 2002 and 2007. He had held the External Affairs portfolio between 1986-87 and was also the Governor of Andhra Pradesh between 2007 and 2009.


Shekhar's mother, Ujjwala Sharma is the daughter of former MP and Minister of State Defence Sher Singh. She reportedly came in contact with Tiwari while working for the Mahila Morcha of the Congress.
