New Delhi: Over 50,000 people descended at the Jantar Mantar in New Delhi today, as anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare has begun his indefinite fast, demanding a stronger Lokpal Bill. A candle march is being held at the India Gate in the evening.

A section of TV media, which tried to portray Anna's show of strength as "flop", were taken aback yesterday, as 20,000 people gathered at the fast venue to support Team Anna. The crowd increased further today after Anna began his fast.

While Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai have been on the fast for the last four days, Anna ignored all appeals and joined them, saying he won't hesitate to die for a right cause.

Anna Hazare accused the government of going back on its promises and said his fast will continue till the Lokpal becomes a reality. Team Anna criticised the media for terming his movement as a "flop show" and wondered why they are not highlighting the "flop shows" of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
