Breaking News! In a big political development today, Trinamool Congress chief and West Bengal Chief Minister has withdrawn support to the Congress-led UPA Government at the centre. Her ministers will submit their resignation on Friday.

Mamata Banerjee accused the Congress of blackmailing politics and said they never gave any respect to her party although she was a trusted ally for long. "Can we live when our head is cut off", she asked. "The Congress is indulged in unilateralism, which affects the common people", she said.

Mamata rejected any partial rollback in fuel price hike and said Congress' policies would hit the aam aadmi hard. She also said that the FDI in multi-brand retail would lead the country to disaster. Mamata vowed to continue for the people's rights.

Mamata ruled out any outside support to the UPA Government. She alleged that the government brought FDI in retail and hiked diesel prices to divert the attention from Coalgate. Mamata listed three conditions before the government - 1) revoke decision on FDI in retail, 2) increase the cap on subsidized LPG cylinders to 12 in a year per family, 3) rollback the diesel prices by Rs 3-4 per litre. But, the government rejected her demands.
