TMC Ministers submit Resignation to Prime Minister PDF Print E-mail

New Delhi: The divorce between the Congress and Trinamool Congress has become official now, as all six TMC ministers submitted their resignation to the Prime Minister at 7 Race Course Road. The Ministers, who put in their papers, were led by Mukul Roy, who held the Railways portfolio.

 

The Trinamool Ministers, who resigned, included Mukul Roy, Union Railway Minister, Saugata Ray, Mos, Urban Development, Sudip Bandopadhyay, MoS, Health, Sultan Ahmed, MoS, Tourism, Mohan Jatua, MoS, I&B and Sisir Adhikari, Mos, Rural Development.

 

The Trinamool leaders will also meet President Pranab Mukherjee to formally withdraw the letter of support to the UPA Government, as instructed by their Mamata Banerjee.
