Breaking News! In a shocking development, two inmates, who are serving life sentences at Tihar Jail, claimed that the jail authorities had told them to kill two former officials of Commonwealth Games inside the premises.

Criminals Amit and Nishant said that the jail authorities had approached them with weapons and told them on December 20 to kill the CWG officials TS Darbari and Sanjay Mahendroo who are also lodged in the jail.

Amit and Nishant, who were produced at Delhi's Saket court complex for hearing in their case, met the magistrate Vinod Yadav and submitted an application stating the fact.

They stated that the jail officials had threatened them to kill both if the duo does not follow their orders inside the jail premises. On the other hand, Amit's mother Munni Devi has also claimed that her son and his friend are being threatened inside the jail.

It is reported that one of the Delhi police official had found the knife from their cell on Monday. However, the two had not identified the officer before the magistrate.

In application they stated that the pistol was given to them, the jail authorities have displaced it. They have requested the court to protect them from the jail authorities of Tihar.

The court has directed the Hari Nagar police station to investigate the case and the claims made by the inmates of Tihar.
