Maoists strike in Khaprakhol in Balangir PDF Print E-mail

Breaking News! After a brief lull, the Maoists struck in the Khaprakhol area of Balangir last night by killing the son of Block Chairman. The incident occurred late on Tuesday night.

 

According to local TV channels, around 20-25 armed Maoists were involved in the attack. The deceased was identified as Sashi Bhoi, son of Khaprakhol Block Chairman, Ganesh Ram Bhoi.

 

The incident occurred in Sanagunjibhata village in Karuanjhar panchayat in Khaprakhl Block. The police have not yet confirmed whether it was the handiwork of the Maoists or any rivals. Further details are awaited.
