Opposition leaders propose talks with Naveen on Posco |

Breaking News: After PPSS failed in meeting with the state administration, leaders of six Opposition parties have decided to have direct discussion on Posco issue with the CM Naveen Patnaik soon.
The opposition party meeting was attended by the senior party leaders from the Communist Party of India, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), the Forward Bloc, the Samajwadi Party, the Rashtriya Janata Dal, and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha respecetively.
They have decided to stage a dharna for indefinite period in the state capital supporting the CPI backed Posco Pratirodh Sangram Samiti (PPSS) which has been voicing against the Posco project for the last five years.
Condemning the police action on the villagers that tried to terrorize and suppress the anti-displacement agitation in the recent weeks, the Party members are looking forward the meeting with the CM soon to put their demand for shifting the site of the proposed South Korean steel plant Posco India Pvt Ltd from Erasama area of Jagatsinghpur district.
