26 Tribals fall ill, as Anthrax hits Orissa PDF Print E-mail

Bhubaneswar: At least 26 tribals in Orissa's Sundargarh district fell ill, as Anthrax hit four villages in the area. The Anthrax cases were reported from Hatibari area. A medical team has been rushed to monitor the situation.

The affected villages under Hatibari Panchayat in Nuagaon block are Dukatoli, Mangratoli, Kusmtoli and Anthugada.

The medical team is camping in the area with sufficient medicines and other equipments. Door to door treatment is being given to all villagers.
