New Delhi: Breaking News! The Rajya Sabha today suspended seven unruly MPs, who disrupted the proceedings of the House yesterday and tore down the copies of the Women's Reservation Bill, by snatching the papers from Vice President Hamid Ansari.

The MPs who were suspended are, Kamal Akhtar (Samajwadi Party), Nand Kishore Yadav (Samajwadi Party), Subhash Yadav (RJD), Ejaz Ali (JD-U), Veer Pal Singh Yadav (Samajwadi Party), Sabir Ali (Lok Janshakti Party) and Aamir Alam Khan (Samajwadi Party).

The Rajya Sabha unanimously took the decision to suspend these MPs for bringing disrepute to Rajya Sabha by their conduct. They have been suspended for the remaining part of the Budget Session.

The stalemate over the Women's Reservation Bill continued for the second consecutive day, as RJD, SP, JD-U MPs created ruckus in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, protesting against the bill.

Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned till 12 PM and then again till 2 PM. The protesting MPs shouted slogans against the government and the Women's Reservation Bill, forcing Vice President Hamid Ansari to adjourn the house.
