Breaking News! After unveiling the Vision 2020 document a few days ago, the Congress has released its poll manifesto for Uttar Pradesh with more emphasis on development and growth for all sections.

The party promised to respect the court order on Babri demolition, but urged the people to bring it back to power, ending the 23-year exile.

The Congress played the minority card well by promising 4.5 per cent sub-quota for the backward Muslims within the OBC quota. The party also promised to look into another sub-quota for the backward dalits.

The Congress Party has vowed to wipe out corruption in Uttar Pradesh and promised to bring the Chief Minister under the Lokayukta.

The party manifesto also promised a school in every village of Uttar Pradesh in addition to residential schools for the SCs/STs/OBCs. The party made special emphasis on education, technology and inclusive growth.
