Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh has sought a strong national policy to deal with Naxal menace. When asked about the NCTC, he said he would give his opinion during the official discussions.

"Abduction is a national problem. I will talk to the PM over the policies to deal with such hostage situation," he said.

The Chhattisgarh CM denied reports that Salwa Judum still exists in Chhattisgarh despite a court ban. He also denied any swap deal with the Maoists, saying there won't be any such deal even if the CM is abducted.
