News Desk: The Rajasthan BJP plunged into a deep crisis, as former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia revolted and threatened to quit the party. Around 56 MLAs too offered to resign in her support. Â Raje was furious over the proposed "Lok Jagran Yatra" to be launched by RSS-backed leader Gulabchand Kataria against the Ashok Gehlot government in Rajasthan. Â The former Chief Minister sees Kataria's yatra as an open challenge to her supremacy and stature in Rajasthan BJP. She threatened to resign from the primary membership of the party if Kataria does not refrain from doing so. Â The BJP's central leadership in a dilemma after 56 out of 79 BJP MLAs in Rajasthan came out in open support of Raje. Raje was summoned to Delhi by the top leaders. Â While Vasundhara Raje termed it as an internal matter of the BJP, Kataria too said that he can call off the yatra if Raje is opposed to it. |
