News Desk: The Karnataka BJP plunged into a deep crisis, as the ghost of BS Yeddyurappa returned to haunt them. A day after the Supreme Court ordered CBI probe into the allegations against BSY in connection with the illegal mining, seven Ministers close him offered to quit.

After the political endgame in Karnataka, Yeddyurappa had reportedly sought top posts for his loyalists. However, the party leadership has warned him not to aggravate the political crisis and refrain from playing any dirty tricks.

At least seven ministers and six MLAs close to Yeddyurappa had submitted their resignations to him and refused to accept Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda as their leader. Gowda had already intimated BJP President Nitin Gadkari about the alleged "anti-party" activities in the state.

The Ministers who wanted to quit in support of Yeddyurappa, included Shobha Kharandlaje, V Sommana, MP Renukacharya, Umesh Katthi, Basavaraj Bommai, Murugesh Nirani and CM Udasi.
