Breaking News! Putting all the rumours and speculations into rest, former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that he is not quitting the BJP. However, the rebel leader showed his strength saying he was not responsible for the current political crisis.

He said, "I have not dropped my demands, but I am not quitting the BJP at present".

Slamming the Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, the BJP strongman said that the CM has proved to be a failure and he should have resigned long before.

Yeddyurappa also slammed BJP General Secretary H N Ananth Kumar saying that he wants to be the CM of the state. He said that he was forced to resign as the CM by the Ananth Kumar.

He also alleged that the CM and party's state unit chief have no face to face talks with the MLAs. He said that he has the strength of 50 MLAs. He said that around 40 MLAs have tendered their resignations to him in his support.

He said that he had brought the BJP to power in the south Indian state. However, he will decide on his political future with BJP soon.

However, if Yeddyurappa would resign from the party, the development could have threatened the survival of the BJP government in Karnataka as he claims to have the support of at least nine ministers and 45 MLAs.
