Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Assembly witnessed a stormy start on the first the day of the budget session on Monday with the clash between the ruling SP and opposition BSP.

The BSP members created ruckus in the House while Governor BL Joshi was addressing the assembly. It was the first session of the new assembly with Akhilesh Yadav as the Chief Minister. The House was adjourned till 2:30 pm.

The BSP MLAs disrupted the Governor’s address by shouting slogans at the well of the Lucknow Vidhan Sabha a minute after the session began today. The SP members opposed and both the parties shouted slogans against each other.

The BSP blamed SP of trying to mount false cases against former chief minister and BSP supremo Mayawati by ordering investigations on various parks and memorials built during BSP regime. They also accused the government led by Akhilesh Yadav of worsening the law and order situation in the state.
