News Desk: While Congress is finding it difficult to choose the presidential candidate, the NDA remained undecided over the issue even after a meeting at senior BJP leader LK Aedvani's residence on Friday.

Advani said that the party will analyse the situation and then come to the conclusion after the UPA places its candidate. He said that today's meeting was not to decide anything.

He said that party will discuss the further strategy after analysing the situation. He said that the BJP is in touch with non-congress parties and watching the developments closely.

Indicating TMC chief Mamata Banerjee and SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, Advani said that two leaders have played crucial roles in the selection of candidatures.

The senior leader accused UPA of mishandling the presidential poll 2012, which will be a sensational one this time.

Meanwhile, Mulayam on Friday avoided making a definitive statement on whether his party is backing the candidature of APJ Abdul Kalam for the post of President.
