News Desk: Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray has slammed BJP leader L K Advani for his statement regarding the 2014 election. Advani had predicted in his blog that a non-BJP, non-Congress Prime Minister may take over aftermath 2014 general elections.

Thackeray said in an edition of his party mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ that statement of Advani in his blog is like a general saying before a war that there is no guarantee on the outcome and demoralizing the entire army.

The Shiv Sena Chief mentioned that this is akin to conceding defeat "without even entering the boxing ring". He advised the senior BJP leader to not to lose heart. "If Advani has any doubts, he can come to me and I will give him a dose of morale and strength," Thackeray said in Saamna.

Thackeray also showed his confidence about NDA’s coming to power as the single largest group. He expected that probably Advani is not comfortable with upcoming of two candidates for the prime minister's post within the NDA, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. But this problem can be sorted out after the elections – he said.

Again, about Shiv Sena’s strategy in the coming election Thackeray said that the party will play a "free-style wrestling" and even kick and knock down its opponents if required. He also asked Advani to help defeat Congress instead of playing politics through blogs and sending a wrong message down the ranks.
