Ahmedabad: Breaking New! In a severe jolt to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, the Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) has issued summons to him to appear before it in a case related to the burning of late Congress MP Ehsan Jaffrey.

Ehsan Jaffrey and 68 others were killed in the Gulberg Society massacre in Ahmedabad on February 28, 2002. His wife Zakia Jaffrey had filed a 100-page complaint alleging conspiracy against Modi and 62 others.

Modi will appear before the SIT on March 21. This is the first time Narendra Modi will appear in a case related to 2002 Gujarat Riots.
