Indian Freelancers urge Media to take up their fight against PayPal PDF Print E-mail

New Delhi: Millions of Indian Freelancers, who rely on online money-transfer service, PayPal, has urged the government and media to step in and take up their issue at the highest level. Freelancers such as Web Developers, Web Designers, Coders, Writers and SEOs are worst-affected.

The freelancers are outraged that PayPal is causing them high inconvenience and loss of money because of this unilateral decision to stop all personal/gift payments to and from India without any notice.

Not only the personal payments, but also the withdrawal of money to bank accounts have been affected by the PayPal "outage". PayPal has not yet come up with a solution or a specific time-frame to resolve the issue. As a result, a large number of people are still living in fear and suspicion.

Ironically, PayPal has not cited the reason behind its decision to suspend the personal payments to and from India. Rumors and speculations are doing round on the web, but PayPal's silence over this issue, has baffled many. PayPal just acknowledged that there is a problem and they are trying to sort it out.
