Saina Nehwal retains Swiss Open Grand Prix PDF Print E-mail

Sports Desk: After a series of failures, finally there is some good news for Saina Nehwal, as she won the Swiss Open Grand Prix Gold Badminton title second time in a row.

 

Saina beat China's Shixian Wang 21-19, 21-16 in a thrilling final that lasted for 48 minutes. Saina is ranked fifth in the world, while Shixian Wang is ranked third. In the semifinal, Saina had defeated  Japan's Minatsu Mitani 21-16, 21-18.
